I was brought to the Lord in 1975 during my freshman year at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina where Wyndham Shaw served as campus minister. Shortly after graduation in 1978 I moved to Gainesville, Florida where Cynthia and I dated and were married in 1981.
God blessed us with the opportunity to serve in the ministry in Tallahassee, FL from 1981 to 1987. We moved from Tallahassee to New York in 1987 where I now serve as an elder and evangelist.
Cynthia and I have two wonderful girls who are faithful disciples. Christina is a law student at Fordham University Law School in Manhattan and Lauren is attending graduate school at Columbia University.

Later that month they moved to Maryland where JP was the Campus Minister for eight years at the University of Maryland for the University Church. Their two children, Joel and Adriene, were both born in Washington DC. JP earned a Masters degree in Old Testament Religious Studies from Howard University. Since then they have led ministries in Lawrence, Kansas, Orlando, Boston and in South Florida.
They made the difficult decision to get out of the ministry in 1993, moved to the Atlanta area and were very involved in the Gwinnett County ministry. JP worked as a mortgage loan officer/Realtor and for several years Pat served as the Executive Director of some Assisted Living facilities.
In 2004 with personal resolve and the encouragement of others, they decided to return to the fulltime ministry. God soon made it clear that Columbia, SC was were He wanted them to be.
