Saturday Evening "Remember the Lord in Song" Explanation
Combining old and new, traditional and contemporary, Sherwin Mackintosh hopes to provide a worship experience that is both memorable and life-changing for our Saturday evening program. Featuring guest artist Teresa Brown, the evening will involve performance pieces as well as participation, and will culminate in a celebration of music from the musical, Upside Down. Sherwin also plans on incorporating some teaching on singing and worship to help deepen our understanding and involvement. The emphasis on singing “Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs” will provide a diversity to the program for the evening that should feature something for everyone.
